The quote by George Bernard Shaw truly defines charismatic, passionate and visionary Kavita Dhillon, Founder and Chief Image Consultant of EXTRA EDGE IMAGE MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTING. Being an Army kid and Army wife, she had the opportunity to live and travel to different places all over the country encountering many cultures and diversities which has helped her in gaining wide exposure, knowledge and rich experience in understanding these cultures and their people. The very important skill which she picked up being Army kid and Army wife is adaptability to any situation, place or life and desire to serve others which stands her apart from others. Kavita Dhillon, comes with twelve years experience in training and transformation and has in addition, worked with a leading garment export house, giving her the rich expertise on elements and principles of Design. With a Bachelors in Psychology, Education and Masters in English literature, she is a certified image consultant (Conselle institute of image management, USA), Soft Skill Trainer certified by National Accreditation Board for Education and Training, Quality Council of India (NABET) and Scotish Qualification Authority (SQA). She is also a member of Image Management Professional Association (IMPA). She is an accomplished interior decorator, designer and event manager. She has the experience of organizing many theme events. Her continued curiosity, interest and passion in making a positive difference in people's life had been appreciated by all and therefore, she decided to re-align her career and chose to become Image Consultant. She has an Annual training contract with Trendsetters skill assessors Pvt Ltd. She has also conducted training sessions for Winaum Learning, Brand Scope Exhibitions, Fireball Securities,NGO Neev etc. She has conducted workshops for the students of North Cap University (deemed university recognised by UGC) and University Institute of Law and Management (Government Institute). Various topics covered during the sessions are Attitude, Motivation, Goal Setting, Business Etiquette, E-mail and Telephone Etiquette, Spontaneous Communication Skills, Time Management, Self-Discipline, Punctuality, Leadership, Image Management for greater success, Be your own stylist, Personal Branding,Dress to Impress,Entrepreneurship opportunities in Image Consulting and Soft Skills training etc. She was awarded Glamour and Fashion Trophy - 2017 for best Image Consultant. Her passion and dedication in helping men and women and express themselves through their personal presentation, both for business and social presentation is provided through training seminars and personal consultations on effective use of colour, style, image, makeup, wardrobe planning and etiquette. As a facilitator, she implements soft skill training programmes and offers advice after assessing trainee needs and evaluating results. She is there from the beginning to end to help them to raise their self-esteem and be successful in their life.
