Erica deSouza is a certified image consultant and soft skills trainer whose forte is the service industry. Having spent the earlier part of her career in hospitality, she worked with leading brands such as the Taj Group of Hotels, Hyatt hotels and MARS hospitality. She has been approved by the American Hospitality Management Association as a certified hospitality trainer. Erica has a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, U.S.A., and is a graduate from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. Erica is well versed with training techniques, delivery and practical experiences when it comes to dealing with customers, complaint management, service excellence, basic communication and body language, train the trainer, brand standard training to creating brand ambassadors out of your employees. She has served as faculty for Rizvi College of Hotel Management where she trained aspiring hospitality managers in soft skills required for the service industry. Erica is currently an empanelled soft skills trainer for HDFC Mutual Funds, Wasan Knowledge Hub and Talerang. She has conducted independent image and soft skills workshops for the YPO (Young Presidents' Organization), Premier Ltd., the College of Engineering, Pune. Her past assignments include Out of the Blue Restaurants, Taj hotels and the MARS group. She is proud to have conducted a workshop while represented the Wasan Knowledge Hub at NMIMS college recently. She also conducts one on one image and soft skills consulting with select clientele. Erica spent five years as Executive Assistant, Chairman's Office, Premier Ltd. (Formerly Premier Automobiles Ltd.) and as the Head - Corporate Communication and Training, Premier Ltd. She currently serves as the Director for the Vinod & Saryu Doshi Foundation, a public charity trust that supports initiatives in the fields of Art & Culture, Education and Community upliftment.
