Summary

I have always had a passion for meeting and interacting with people from varied cultures. This led me to work for a travel agency initially after which I soared higher and worked as a flight attendant with Delta Airlines for two decades. With my free-spirited personality and warm approach I excelled in the travel and hospitality sector. While with Delta Airlines,I also helped in recruitment and that is when I saw the challenges people faced in putting their best foot forward. An exposure to the less fortunate during my volunteering efforts in teaching at a municipal school also showed me how much potential every child has but is left untapped because of lack of opportunity or confidence. This led to my desire to help people realize their true worth and face the world with confidence. I took this experience to fuel my entrepreneurial spirit when I franchised the first Lakme Beauty Salon in South Mumbai. This became my laboratory to do image make overs and when I saw the complete transformation in the persona both on the outside and from within ,I decided to make this my profession and set up "Image Make-Over" Image Make-Over helps people build an image they want to be perceived as by evaluating their personal style, assessing their body and face shapes, conducting colour clinics, analyzing their wardrobe, assisting them with their personal shopping and styling, etiquette, grooming and personal hygiene and completing the final package by showing them make up techniques best meant for their skin colour and face types Based on the above evaluations, the client is then advised on managing their image based on their roles and goals in life. My mission is "TO HELP PEOPLE BE THE BEST THEY CAN" Having style and making the right first impression is not all about the perfect body or having a large budget.It's about looking and feeling good, and presenting yourself confidently irrespective of age, shape, size or budget!! Few of my assignments have been with chartered accountants, brides and grooms to be, home makers, entrepreneurs, investors, engineers, teachers, c.f.o's,hospitality,healthcare,law firms, n.g.o's and corporates.
